Awake in the sense that I am conscious of the beauty. I scope out art in everything around me. Day after day. The cities, backyards, schoolyards, parks, bedrooms. The other day I saw a dandelion suspended in a spiderweb. Once I saw a rust stain on the back of a street sign that appeared to be a penguin.
My cameras' are my instruments. I pick out what I like, what I want to emphasize, and they capture it all for me. If you see me in the streets, give me joy; flash, give me honesty; flash.
